Fun with Cody and Brady (photoshoped)

During the last week of summer/fall a couple of weeks ago. A good friend of mine, Dawn and her kids, Cody and Brady. What a fun couple of days we had. One day we went to the local park and the boys played and played. Then we went to the zoo! I still can't believe what great weather we had that week. And then of course since I just went to this photoshop class, I have been playing around. I am not all that creative but I am having fun!!

Photoshop Class

Dan and Josiah are gone for the weekend and I had the opportunity to take some photography classes today. Though I have so much to learn yet, I have the passion in me to learn. Today the classes were about quality lighting and adobe photoshop. So of course I had to come home and play around. Like I said I have a lot to learn, but I had fun messing around and thought I would share what I did.

Raking made fun!

Though we all felt crappy today...we sucked it up and got outside to get our leaves raked up. It was the perfect weather, the leaves were completely dry and this would be the first time in 8 years that we get the leaves picked up before spring. So we all bundled up and headed out for some raking fun. Only this year it was fun!!! I worked really hard to get this big pile raked up so we could run and jump off our hill into the leaves and we all had a ton of fun.

And we even got a fun family portrait out of the deal. I have now trained Josiah to say cheese at the camera even if I'm not behind it. As soon as the picture has taken we both race to the camera to see the picture. Good fun!!! and in return Good pictures!!!

Quick Post for Halloween

Josiah's very first Trick-or-Treat Knock...or course I had to record it for blogging and scrapbooking purposes ;)
The only reason I include this in the first Halloween post is because Dan and I laughed really hard at this picture and continue to get many smiles from it...so I thought I would share with you all. The reason for the silly face was because I was trying to get him to simply smile instead of saying cheese and this was the result...we went back to cheese for the time being ;)
